INVESTMENTS
What initially started with our own investments in Energy and P&E Leasing has deepened our networks and understanding with both private and public sector stakeholders. It is this experience that we use to help FDIs navigate the sometimes complex world of working with local processes to get the best outcomes for every investment.
LPG continues to be a growing sector. Of the 12 million households, over 90% continue to consume biomass as fuel. Schools and institutions still rely on charcoal and firewood. We are transitioning school kitchens away from firewood and charcoal to affordable cooking Gas, through our “Gas for Schools” initiative.
Our cooking gas reticulation project transitions schools, institutions, households, and businesses from traditional fuels to cleaner, more efficient LPG and other modern energy solutions.
In the long term, we aim to address challenges like deforestation, indoor pollution, respiratory diseases, energy poverty, and gender inequality — while supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The rollout starts with schools for immediate social impact, then expands to affordable housing and businesses.
